What You Learn

Over the PADI Rescue Diver course you will learn: 

• Self rescue.

• Recognizing and managing stress in other divers.

• Emergency management and equipment.

• Rescuing panicked divers.

• Rescuing unresponsive divers.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be:

• 12 years or older. (12 to 14 years earn Junior Rescue Diver certification)

• Have a PADI Adventure Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)

• Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (included with the Rescue Diver price)

 

Equipment Requirements

• Swimming costume.

• Towel.

• Positive attitude.

• Keenness to learn.

 

Course Timeframe

Depending on how you want to approach this course, it can be completed over a single weekend.  Day one would consist of us showing various rescue techniques and day two involves two rescue scenarios.  Contact us for details.
